Three Different Body Types and Their Appropriate Diet
Three different body types are used in this diet. They are namely: Vata, Kapha, and Pitta. Each dosha has its own unique set of characteristics and special features. Some ways are used to determine your body type. The most accurate method is where you are examined by an experienced ayurvedic physician. There is also an ayurvedic quiz that you can do to also determine your body type.
Most people have a combination of more than one dosha, but one of them predominates.
THE KAPHA DOSHA
Kapha is the largest body type. This body type has wide hips/shoulders, they have very thick and wavy hair. This kind of person in this body type has physical stamina. The Kaphas tend to be mentally slow but they have a relatively great memory. These people are loyal, reliable, and stable. There are sometimes called “rocks” in relationships.
The Kapha people tend to have sluggish digestion and poor blood circulation of blood. This can also lead to obesity. The Kaphas can also take garlic or garlic supplements to help them with their circulations. They can also do somebody massages that are very helpful to get rid of excess water weight.
THE PITTA DOSHA
The pitta people are of medium build. They have a good muscle tone and a special tendency to feel warm all over their body. This person also has strong digestion they can eat anything.

THE VATA DOSHA

Vata -Don’t Worry!

Kapha -Stay Busy!

Especially around exercise and diet! the best advice is to exercise vigorously and often, sweat every day, normal meditation will put a Kapha to sleep so standing meditation may be necessary. Bikram Yoga would probably be ideal.
